Overheating of Engine
Jan 01,2004
Range Rover 2.5 BMW Diesel.

A number of cylinder head gaskets have been manufactured with incorrect thickness. This condition may cause a gas leak into the cooling system which may
result in the engine overheating.

ACTION:
At the first opportunity, preferably at PDI, inspect the cylinder head gasket, to determine if a suspect gasket is fitted, and replace where necessary.
