Radiator Tube Cracking

A concern has been identified on a number of Range Rover (V8 only) vehicles within the below VIN range. The calibration of the electric thermostat, applied to petrol variants only, could lead to the radiator cracking causing a
coolant leak. A revised electric thermostat calibration was introduced in production on February 25th 2004. Therefore, this action is only applicable to vehicles within the above VIN range.

Action:
To rectify this concern, all affected vehicles in the above VIN range should have the engine management software re-programmed to recalibrate the electric thermostat. The revised calibration files can be downloaded using the latest T4 disc Range Rover 12 or later.
