2014 Range Rover Sport Interior Spy Photos

AutoExpress spy photographers have snapped a single shot of the new Range Rover Sport’s interior, just a week after the prototype was spotted for the first time. Despite draping a cloth over the dashboard to obscure the new design, the centre-console, switchgear, steering wheel and central touchscreen are all clearly visible.
Compared to the current car, the screen is larger and positioned lower – in line with the steering wheel. Below that is a simplified set of climate controls, while all the navigation keys for the infotainment system now sit alongside the screen in the central recess, instead of below it.
An updated terrain-response dial sits behind a more futuristic-looking joystick-style gear selector, while the whole dash in more steeply raked than in the new Range Rover for a sportier feel. The Range Rover Sport lives up to its name on the outside too, with more pronounced front and rear bumpers, chunkier side sills, a roof spoiler and a lower roofline.
A choice of petrol V8 and diesel V6 engines are expected to be offered, both fitted with an eight-speed automatic gearbox, when the Sport goes on sale in late 2013. We’ll see the new Range Rover before then though, when it makes its public debut at the Paris Motor Show in September.
