Freelander: 500,000th Is Born Free
Feb 23,2006  •   1724 views
Freelander has hit the half million mark. And to celebrate, this extra-special special vehicle rolled off the production line and straight into the hands (and paws) of Born Free, the international wildlife charity, after being donated by Land Rover.

As a Global Sponsorship Partner of Born Free, Land Rover’s vehicles have been used around the world to help rescue big cats and protect endangered wolves and gorillas. The 500,000th Freelander will be used to sustain this invaluable work.

The occasion is further marked with the launch of a special Born Free accessory pack, which includes practical paw print mats and boot liner, a Born Free liveried spare wheel cover and thermal travel mugs. Most crucially, the price includes a twelve-month adoption of a threatened animal.
